yuri post! sasameki koto

cornhobbleTHERE ARE MANY THINGS I SHOULD BE DOING but instead I'm gonna tell you guys all about the yuri I'm reading, because I'm responsible like that.
I've been reading a lot of light, fluffy yuri lately. I was reluctant at first to read stuff that's set in high school, but now I kind of love it. It's perfect when you want something cute and fun to read. :D Anyway, ONTO THE MANGA!
On the left is Murasame Sumika, who says shit like "my love is a flower on a solitary island --- it's not going to bloom" (she's a teenager, okay). She's in luuuuurve with her bff Kazama Ushio (on the right). Kazama is actually into girls too, but only the cute ones. (Murasame is apparently not considered cute because she's tall and athletic and has glasses and stuff. Pffft bitches don't know what they're talking about, she's totally cute LOOK AT HER FACE. But I digress.)
So Murasame is all I AM NOT CUTE KAZAMA WILL NEVER LOVE ME ;_;
I love unrequited friend-angst, it's my faaaaavorite. But I should note that the tone of the manga stays pretty light and humorous, it's not ridiculously angsty or anything. (I mean, there are some I AM A LONELY FLOWER moments, but otherwise the angst is sparing.)
Let's talk more about Sumi and Kazama and their DEEP, NOT-SO-PLATONIC BOND:
FAVORITE. PANEL. EVER. I'm not going to bother explaining the backstory because the point is that they can communicate non-verbally! They wave their arms a lot and look like lunatics but are actually speaking in secret code no one else understands! ~MEANT FOR EACH OTHER~
At some point another girl comes along and crushes on Murasame and I totally shipped them, but I doubt anything will ever come of it. It's very much one-sided, and Murasame/Kazama is totally endgame. But here, have a pic:
Girl who crushes on Murasame is on the left, Murasame is on the right holding her hand and being super nice and stuff.
I would continue but it's already getting a little longish and no1curr anyways, so. Stopping now! That said you should totally check out this manga if you get in the mood, it's avaliable at dynasty scans. :D
