dr google

Have you ever had an injury/felt sick and then googled your symptoms to see if you could figure out the cause? I have. PROTIP: DON'T DO IT.

I've got this big-ass bruise on my knee that's all swollen and tender (it's like a ring of purple circling my knee, it's ~totally badass~), and after googling I'm half-convinced that it's actually a fracture and I'M GOING TO DIE OMG.

Maaaaybe it's time to turn my computer off. brb, icepack

Haha, I did this just yesterday. My thumb has been twitching for the last couple of days, and I googled it, and apparently I have to see a neurologist before I die :P

I hope your knee gets better!

you: 'why is my thumb twitching'
google: better get it checked up BEFORE IT FALLS OFF OMG

Thanks! I hope your thumb stops twitching, that's totally annoying. :P

STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER.

Instead, I offer the time honored advice of P.E. teachers and coaches everywhere. 'Just shake it off. You'll be all right.' lulz, okay maybe not.

Try putting some liniment on it.

lol, PE teachers. THEY ARE OF THE DEVIL.

Good idea, will do. :D I keep accidentally banging it against things and making the bruise worse. Ow. D: CURSE MY PERPETUAL CLUMSINESS!

Maybe wear a small pillow around your knee, too.

I DO THIS ALL THE TIME!

It's probably not a good idea since I'm already a bit of a hypochondriac...

Augh, I do this too AND IT'S NEVER A GOOD IDEA

Hopefully there's nothing seriously wrong with your knee!
