Okay. So after a talk with openmydoors, I decided to move to a new journal.

I'm moving from the journal meridith_smith. Various stuff factored into my desire to move, blah blah, and now I'm friending my old flist. So if you just got a friend notification from me it's because you were friended on my old journal and I want to keep contact up and shit, I'm not just some random newbie. :D

I got into playing World of Warcraft almost a year ago and kinda strayed from fandom when the show ended. I miss it a lot, too. I haven't even tried watching SGU, it just doesn't seem like something I would get into. Heard a lot of mixed reviews.. some say it's great, some say it sucks *shrugs* Pretty much been waiting on David to do something else, ya know, since it was him who made the show for me.

I've always wanted to try World of Warcraft, but maybe I don't need anymore distractions in my life, heh. I wouldn't bother with SGU, it kind of sucks. >:|

World of Warcraft is made of awesome! I've got a couple of max level characters in a wonderful guild on the Khadgar server. If you ever do decide to try it out let me know and I'll send you a free friend trial key. We both get in-game rewards from it and whatnot.

Thanks for the offer! But unfortunately right after I posted my comment I went and created a free 10-day trial account out of curiosity, lol. I've been at it for a few hours now and aaaaah CAN'T STOP PLAYING, MUST FINISH QUEST. I keep dying tho. >:( It's addicting! :D

Haha, that's cool. My main is a Blood Elf Mage named Caylee on Khadgar. Horde-side obviously. Leveling her included A LOT of dying. Darn cloth wearers :(

I'm an elf too, but on the other side. I was going to choose a warrior with more armor, but then I read somewhere that a hunter could have a pet and I changed my mind. That would be awesome. :D

I have... no idea, actually. >_> How do you tell?

Night Elf hunter, eh? Never had a hunter myself but I have a warlock with a minion and a death knight with a ghoul and I love it! Makes the game much easier.

When you first sign up you choose which realm you want to be on. That is your server. When you log in and see your character, on the right side above where it lists your characters, it will say which realm you are on.

Oh! I see. Well, I guess I'm on realm/server Malygos, then. :D I never read instructions/guides for games (or anything else, for that matter) out of impatience so I'm generally that one person who doesn't actually know what they're doing. Haha, hopefully I'll get the hang of it eventually.
