THIS. It's just unnecessary. And the whole everyone-gets-married-to-their-highschool-sweetheart! thing is just implausible. It's the stuff out of bad fanfic. Romance and epilogues are J.K. Rowling's two weaknesses, apparently. /buuuuurn

OF COURSE, of course. :D We all have our exceptions~ I, for one, would like to state that if JKR had wanted to make Sirius/Lupin canon I would have been ALL OVER THAT. I just tend to like it better when the protagonist remains romance-free. :DDD
