Late, but -- HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! \o/

2011 sounds even more futuristic than 2010, y/y? It's totally weird.

I always talk about how useless new year's resolutions are, but I'm going to make a tentative one anyway, hah.

I'd like to try and put myself out there a bit more -- talk to people I don't know, be more assertive, etc. I'm never going to be a social butterfly, but that doesn't mean I have to be a total recluse. :D

AHAHAHA THAT IS THE QUESTION. I am really terrible with small talk. Like REALLY REALLY terrible. I generally end up blabbing on about my brother or someone else I know who has a more exciting life than me. XD

HMMM, I LIKE THAT TACTIC. brb, quizzing my sister on her life for convo material.

Sometimes when I meet people I end up babbling whatever comes to my mind first. I also have a tendency to make jokes that are not amusing, even a little. D: Like today I met a friend-of-a-friend and we were walking by a stand that sold little plushies that were in the shape of different microbes. They had a few STDs and one of the plushes was supposed to be herpes.

Me: "lolol you can give someone herpes!"

Everyone else: "..."

._. I'm just not... funny...
